Elaine is an experienced financial advisor specializing in designing comprehensive financial plans for individuals or families, including investment portfolio, tax planning, risk management and retirement planning.  Elaine’s business philosophy is to use her professional knowledge and skills to serve clients with integrity and competence.  She is specially trained to help elders to do Estate Planning by listening to their wishes and concerns.  It is her goal to help elders to maintain a healthy lifestyle besides peace of mind with their finances.

After graduating from University of Toronto, Elaine has worked with the Ontario Government as a computer programmer/analyst for a number of years.  She has enrolled in Biblical Studies at Ontario Theological Seminary (now called Tyndale Seminary) prior to working with her husband as missionaries in Japan for over 8 years.  In the early 1990’s, her family returned to Canada. While fulfilling her family obligations, she completed the “Certificate in Financial Planning” course at Seneca College inToronto and earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP).  Subsequently she successfully completed other certificate programs such as “Adult Education” and “Elder Planning Counselor” during her practice as a financial planner.

Elaine accepted Christ while at university.  She has received various discipleship and Bible trainings.  She and her family started to worship at Grace Chinese Gospel Church of North York since 1994.  Her ministry ranges from teaching youth and adult Sunday School to Ushering to supervising a middle-aged Fellowship group.  Recently, she enjoys conducting teacher’s training classes.  Besides visitation and counseling, she also speaks at church seminars or retreats.  She has been a columnist for “Herald Monthly”.

Elaine is one of the founders of Christian Financial Stewardship Inc.  Her desire is to use her financial expertise plus bible knowledge to help Christians practice stewardship based on the teachings of the Bible.
